BT: accolades for its approach to work/life balance

Over the last two years, the Government has been demonstrating how a better work/life balance can be good for business by funding initiatives and surveys. And from 6 April, parents of children aged under six or of disabled children aged under 18 have the right to apply to work flexibly. Employers will have a statutory duty to consider their applications seriously and according to a set procedure. They will only be able to refuse requests where they have a clear business reason.
