Outlook integration: ‘practical use of convergence’ by TeleWare

TeleWare will announce this month the integration into Microsoft Outlook of its industry-leading telephony services – including its advanced intelligent numbering application which allows a personal number to be pulled to whatever location or device the owner is using.

Microsoft Outlook is acknowledged as the world’s most widely distributed email client, although its focus has been primarily on the integration of data applications. However, voice is still the primary and most important form of business communications. The increasing volume of numbers at which a person, department or organisation can be contacted also makes it increasingly difficult for businesses to offer high levels of customer service and responsiveness.
