From strategy to reality
Management consultants have a key role to
play in steering client strategies and making them work.
Management consultants have a dynamic relationship with
a client’s Board. They are often brought in for their experience
and methodologies at times of change and crisis. Many are

to consultants. Firstly, such assignments generate good ad
hoc revenues but rarely ongoing consulting fees. Secondly,
it can be demotivating when a consultant helps point a company
in the right direction only to see little material progress
next time they are engaged – perhaps years later.
