Cutting the cost of mobile calls
With GSM coverage widely available, business executives are
increasingly using mobile phones even when cheaper calling
options are available. According to published statistics from
industry analysts:
- 48% of all UK employees use their mobiles at their desks.
- Calls made from a mobile typically cost double those made
on a landline.
- Avoiding one five-minute mobile call a day could save
UK industry around £2.5 billion a year.
